Under starter’s orders, two competitors line up. And they’re off! The commentators in the podium-caravan advance as the cyclists climb higher and higher in the air.Their giant silhouettes cross the sky accompanied by the magical ‘Song of the Sirens’. The crowd is hooked! At 50 metres from the finishing line the excitement is palpable as the spectators cheer their favourite home.
This show is a large-scale production with an intimate, human dimension - a giddy, humorous exploit, and a wonderful example of Mécanique Vivante’s world of invention.
